Lock Me Out – Please
Some cell phone overusers have bought additional hardware (NYT Article) to purposely disable their cell phones when in the car. The phone will not work unless overridden by an administrator. Some drivers are choosing this device after they became concerned about their distracted driving. Other users of the cellblocks are Parents, Corporations and Government.
There is another device like this for much cheaper – it’s called a mute or off.
Combined with voice mail these controls work well these options are formidable and inexpensive tools for taking a message and not talking on your phone.
